The yellow ding dong is a great tasting and prolific pepper that puts on loads of 5-7 inch long twisted yellow peppers. These have a little bit of a bubblegum sweet kind of flavor that is quickly followed up by a citrusy refreshing flavor and a mild to medium heat. Shaped a bit like gnarled...ding dongs, the origins are not clear on this pepper. It's possible they are a yellow peter pepper variant that crossed with something along the way to add ridges and twists to their shape. Really fun and easy to grow, and the yields are impressive.
